Abstract

El cistoadenoma seroso de ovario es un tipo de tumor derivado del epitelio superficial (celómico), formado por áreas quísticas. La razón del predominio de estos tumores en el ovario es un misterio. Informamos el caso de una paciente con cistoadenoma seroso de ovario; que fue referida al Hospital Clínico-Quirúrgico “10 de Octubre, por presentar un gran aumento del volumen abdominal, de 2 años de evolución, cuyo diagnóstico fue sospechado por hallazgo de ultrasonografía pélvica y corroborado por Tomografía Axial Computarizada, encontrándose en sala
