Tratamiento precoz del reflujo venoso espermático

Abstract

Se hace un estudio de cohorte en el que se aplica tratamiento quirúrgico a niños en los que por exámen físico y ultrasonido Doppler se le demostró reflujo venoso espermático y años después se reevalúa con espermatogramas y/o números de embarazos, demostrándose que el tratamiento quirúrgico precoz detiene el daño anátomo-funcional del testículo y previene la infertilidad. No son iguales los resultados del tratamiento quirúrgico en aquellos pacientes que por diferentes motivos acuden por infertilidad con parejas estables en edades mayores, por mayor daño en el mecanismo de la reproducción.
