Comunicación interauricular en adultos, diagnóstico tardío

Abstract

Se presentan tres casos de comunicación interauricular, tipo ostium secundum que fueron enviados a la consulta de cardiología del municipio de San José de las Lajas en un intervalo de tres meses en donde se les realizó diagnóstico clínico presuntivo por auscultación y se confirmó por ecocardiograma, todos entre la 5ta y 6ta década de la vida, y que a pesar de haber transitado por diversos servicios de salud durante toda si vida, nunca se le detectó soplo o alteración cardiovascular para inferir el diagnóstico cuestionándose la calidad de la auscultación y examen físico cardiovascular en nuestro medio.
