Se presenta un caso de malformación adenomatoide del pulmón diagnosticado prenatalmente por ultrasonografía en el año 1996, en el Hospital Ginecoobstétrico Docente " Manuel Fajardo " deGüines. Se describen las alteraciones que sustentaron su diagnóstico y se revisa el tema. El conocimiento del substrato anatómico en las diferentes variantes de esta entidad y su expresión sonográfica se considera fundamental para establecer el diagnóstico precoz y pronóstico adecuado en cada caso.
